In detail
Shared, Individual or Off
When you create a group, you choose how it works. Admins can change it later without losing anything already counted.
- Shared: everyone's counts add up to one group total, and each person's contribution is shown.
- Individual: everyone counts on their own, and everyone can see each person's progress.
- Off: the feature is hidden in this group.
- You can also start with the 5 default tasbih items.
Inviting and joining
Admins invite with a short code or a link.
- Tap Invite, then Create invite code. Copy the code or tap Share invite.
- Anyone with the code or link can join for 7 days, and you can revoke it any time.
- To join, open the link, or enter the code under Have an invite code or link? on the Groups screen, then tap Join.
- Members see your name and photo on what you add to the group. Your personal progress stays private.
Counting together
Every count goes either to you or to one group, never both.
- On the Tasbeeh or Dhikr & Dua tab, pick the group under Counting for.
- Or open the group and tap Count for this group.
- Every member counts the same tasbih items. Only admins can add, edit or reorder them.
- When you count for a group, the group's dhikr version is used.
Group tabs
Inside a group you find Tasbeeh, Dhikr, Bookmarks, History, Feed and Settings. Features that are off are hidden.
- Bookmarks: Quran verses and hadith shared with the group. Add them from the reader with Add to group….
- History: who counted what, and when.
- Feed: progress cards and badges members chose to share.
Admins and settings
The group's Settings tab holds everything you can change.
- Admins choose the group features, who can add bookmarks, the dhikr version and the Feed options.
- Admins can make another member admin or remove a member.
- Anyone can leave a group. Admins can delete it for everyone.
Notifications
On Android and iOS you can be told when something happens in a group.
- In each group's Settings tab, choose which events notify you: finished dhikr, finished tasbih items, bookmarks, Feed posts and new members.
- Your choices are only for you; other members choose their own.
- Manage the devices that receive them in Settings.
