In detail

Choosing a version

There are four versions. You choose once, and you can change it later.

  • Al-Ma'tsurat (Short) and Al-Ma'tsurat (Complete).
  • Hisnul Muslim (Short) and Hisnul Muslim (Complete).
  • To switch, open the gear button. Today's progress is kept when you change version.

Reading and tracking

Every dhikr shows its progress and a Read button.

  • Tap Read once for every time you recite it. It shows Done when that dhikr is finished.
  • Tapped by mistake? Undo takes back the last tap.
  • The dhikr are meant to be read in order. If you skip ahead, the app asks first, and you can choose Allow Skip.

Dhikr & Dua Settings

The gear button opens Dhikr & Dua Settings.

  • Change the version.
  • Choose the Arabic font style and the Arabic, Latin and translation font sizes.
  • Show or hide the Arabic, the Latin transliteration and the translation.

Dhikr History

The Dhikr History card shows which morning and evening sessions you completed.

  • Filter by the last 7, 30 or 90 days, or a year.
  • Share Progress creates an image of your progress to share.

With groups

If you are signed in and in a group, you can read once and count it everywhere.

  • After you finish, the app asks whether to mark it as done in your other places too. Choose Mark as done or Not now.
  • When you count for a group, the group's dhikr version is used.
  • Morning only marks morning, and evening only marks evening.

Tips

  • Turn on Morning Dhikr Reminder and Evening Dhikr Reminder in Settings. They arrive at Fajr and Asr time.
  • Hide the Latin text once you know a dhikr by heart, so the page is quieter.

Frequently asked questions

Which version should I choose?

Both are well known. Al-Ma'tsurat is a compiled set of dhikr, while Hisnul Muslim follows the well-known book of the same name. Short versions are quicker; complete versions include everything.

Will I lose today's progress if I change version?

No. Today's progress is kept when you switch.

Can I read the dhikr without the app?

Yes. The full morning and evening dhikr are also on this website, with Arabic, transliteration and meaning.
