How to sign in and sync across devices

Signing in keeps your counts, history, bookmarks and settings in your account, so you can restore them on a new phone or use them on several devices.

Quick start

  1. On Home, open Settings under More.
  2. Under Account & Sync, tap Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple.
  3. Your existing data on this device is synced to your account.
  4. On another device, sign in with the same account to get the same data.

In detail

What is synced

For signed-in users, worship data is kept on our server for sync.

  • Dhikr counts and history, and tasbih targets and history.
  • Quran bookmarks and app settings.
  • Sync runs while you are signed in and connected to the internet.

Manual Sync and your name

Sync happens on its own, but you are in control.

  • Tap Manual Sync to sync right away, for example before switching devices.
  • Edit name changes the name other group members see.

Signing out

Signing out removes your account data from this device.

  • Sync first so nothing is lost.
  • To delete your account data from our server, contact us from the Support page.

Tips

  • Getting a new phone? Tap Manual Sync on the old one first, then sign in on the new one.
  • Use the same Google or Apple account on every device.
